To get rid of a TV Licence Goon, all you have to do is get your camera out and then watch the goon leg it faster than a cheetah on steroids. Indeed, a camera to a TV Licence Goon is like a crucifix to a vampire. The reason for this has nothing to do with shyness and everything to do with corruption. TVL Goons simply cannot operate properly when a camera is on them. This is because the goon needs to resort to immoral (and often illegal) methods in order to keep their job. Remember, TV Licensing Goons have no power or authority whatsoever. They are merely glorified salespeople who earn £20 commission for every person who they can con into buying a worthless piece of paper called a “TV Licence”.
