- Violinist with a semipro working R+R band, 'Bandit' 30+ years ago, and been in pursuit of that vibe ever since. - Played a bit recently in a 4 - piece combo, mostly on electric violin. I'd like to think of the sound as approaching rock n' roll - with violin! - Currently developing new sounds and ideas. Just discovered Ed Alleyne - Johnson, electric violinist extraordinaire's amazing layered self-accompaniment, (check my favourites below under 'awesome electric violin ed busking Chester.') and I'm now experimenting with a loop station.
Still keen on guitar, pedalsteel and banjo, despite being busy with the day job ! I've been fascinated with a range of sounds since my earliest years.Organ is one of them, with it's relation to Church, Blues, and so many genres -
I've now just acquired my second Hammond, a '69 T series from JD Hammond of the fabulous Stoned Soul Picnic, and am now spending too much time with it!
