It is possible to get the hanger wrong, but so long as you have them both the same you should be fine. Generally I ride the "higher" angle option as I think the trucks are plenty stable and enjoy the extra turn I get out of them.

White Lithium grease is the "official" suggestion,
That said my personal hack is to use soap shavings.
I read something about using bar soap shavings (Irish Spring for instance) to lubricate squeeky randals / calibers / RKP trucks, which I had, and then decided to try it out on Original trucks. Worked perfectly and I haven't lubed them since, plus I feel like it made them quieter. Just something to try out, NOT an official solution lol

That's the old Torpedo 40. Classic cruiser / carver.
We dont make it any more right now but there is a new one on the drawing board for next year.
Closest thing as far as ride would probably be the Pintail 40 (which has some big advantages as far as height / low profile vs. the Torpedo which was much higher off the ground).
