Where are the progress videos? Especially this past week WTC tower surpassed as the tallest tower in Manhattan. Hugh?

I think someones been watching too much Zeitgeist... Regardless of the cause of the buildings, it is still an amazing achievement and the Memorial is one of a kind...

So glad to see the new WTC tower rising so fast! Its going to look alot like the old North Tower once the antenna is on. I like the new design more and more. Keep up the good work everyone! I will always miss the Twin Towers but this is going to be a beautiful tribute to them and the victims.

Id love to see the old twin towers be rebuilt! I dont hate the new 1 wtc but id prefere if the old twin towers were rebuilt.

how long until the freedom tower is open officially =) ??? and how much bigger is it going to be then the original wtc ?? I never got a chance to visit the wtc and I am so sad that i will never be able to see them =( . It wasnt even like I lived far away . Im from Cape cod!!! Thats not rebuilding the world trade center, thats rebooting the world trade center. . Rebuilding means to rebuilt how it was before. Rebooting means to rebuilt something different from the original.

i dont understand why one tower is a problem. Its not about remaking the old symbol, its about having a new one to put our identity in. Be proud, Americans. We will have a new standard for everyone to see :D

Love the new design, would have liked to seen two towers that were the same, (not the old world trade centers but two new ones standing together in a diagonal position like the old wtc's) mayby some day build another "freedom tower" identicle standing next two this one. when they take down two and we put up one..... what does that say. yes i know there is going to be multiple buildings there all vary tall but two the same hight is just that american bigger stronger message we should strive for, in my opinion......... but for now everything looks good kepp up the good work im looking forward to a visit when the complex is complete

nothing against the "glass toothpick" cause it is a nice building (though the other planned buildings are ugly), but I would have wanted to see the Twin Towers again...

in actuality the site will now have four HUGE towers, it'll be bigger than the original...can't wait to close that ugly chapter.

People are just going to have to accept that there are not going to be Twin Towers in New York anymore. The plan is finalized and they couldn't demolish the main focus of the complex when its already more than halfway constructed. It would be too painful to have the exact same towers that were there. There is a nice memorial park planned that does 9/11 justice and the designers of the site made sure that this would be incorporated into the design. We will never forget, but we dont need to constantly point up to the sky and tell future generations that thousands of people died in buildings just like those now do we.

I think that they should have let Donald Trump put his plan for the memorial into motion, I believe it was VERY fitting and respectful and would have proved to the WORLD, you might knock em down, but we can build them back stronger and better and the memorial he had planned and designed was amazing. The plans made for the "Freedom" tower are tacky and theres NOTHING about FREEDOM to do with 9/11. Donald Trumps idea was much much better than this trashy memorial planned here.
