What's our deal?

We are two 16-year-olds from Kansas who want to collect dirt from all over the world to make money which will be donated to give Africa clean water.

Pathos Dirt revolves around a simple idea: Use dirt from all around the world to make money, which will be sent to the Water Project. We will be collecting dirt sent in by supporters from all around the world (we want your dirt!) and will sell these "bottles of the world" on the ever popular eBay, with the proceeds going 100% to The Water Project.

HERE'S WHERE YOU COME IN: We will keep document of anyone and everyone who makes a dirt donation, and we will give those donors credit. The name of the donor and the location of their dirt donation will be printed somewhere on the label of each bottle sold. So make a donation of dirt: you will get credit! This is your chance to be a part of something big!

how to send....

We're not picky! But here are some shipping suggestions.......

-A medium sized Zip-loc baggie sent in an envelope. (Cost friendly)

-Or, if you have a ton of dirt, you can always put it in bottles or baggies and send it in a box. We can receive any kind of packages, so don't worry!

how much to send?

We would like at least a good baggie-full. As for the maximum amount you send, we really don't have one! We can receive a whole UPS van full of dirt if we want. Don't be shy!

Well, what's with the name?

One day, we were sitting around in a coffee shop (that will remain unnamed), where one of our stupid friends bought a bottle of an unnamed water. This line of water claims to "help children get clean water" by donating 5 cents of every purchase to get clean water, but with a bottle being $1.80, only about 4% of the profit goes towards their relief fund. So while we might not trump their amount of aid, we can certainly trump our percent-per-donation number--- 100% of the money raised will go directly to The Water project.
