Black Mesa - A court hearing Wednesday for Shepard, who had been
absent without official leave from the Army for six months, was
canceled because his case will be dealt with directly by the military.

Shepard, 25, who turned himself in to the Nevada State Police near
Black Mesa Hills on Monday, was accompanied by a crew from CNN, to
whom he had given an interview a week ago.
