Ed Ellis, President and CEO of Iowa Pacific Holdings, sat down with us last weekend to discuss his career on the railroad and the bright opportunity his company may have in passenger rail. Recently, Iowa Pacific partnered with Amtrak to take over the operation of passenger service between Chicago and Indianapolis. Ellis plans on expanding this service in the future with Pullman porters, fine dining, and affordable ticketing.
