Hitchhiking the Carretera Austral in Patagonia, Chile
In this video series I accepted the challenge to hitchhike the complete Carretera Austral from south (Villa O'Higgins) to north (Puerto Montt) in Chile. Nevertheless I embarked on this journey starting in El Chaltén, Argentina - from there I hiked over to Chile. The series starts with a little documentary about the road and it's history.
The Road number 7 connects the most remote areas of Chile and is one of the most beautiful roads in South America. It is an alternative road to the Panamericana which is located on the argentinean side of Patagonia.-
