DLC 4 Salvation for Black Ops 3 features the culmination of the Origins Zombies saga: In Revelations, we meet up with the Origins characters after they’ve taken an epic journey through space and time with all their struggles leading to this very moment. In this, the final chapter of the Zombies experience, Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai finally come face to face with the mysterious Doctor Monty in The House. Confronted by an ancient evil, our heroes must fight the zombie horde once more in the final battle to save their immortal souls.

Der Eisendrache (German for The Iron Dragon) in the DLC map pack Awakening. Some Specialists weapons used in Call of Duty: Black Ops III Multiplayer are featured in this, such as the Gravity Spikes and Sparrow. In the trailer, Dempsey is shown holding a Death Machine. Der Eisendrache was released on February 2, 2016 for the PlayStation 4, and is scheduled for release March 2, 2016 for other current generation consoles in the DLC map pack Awakening. The map contains many elements from previous maps such as Origins, Mob of the Dead, Moon and Ascension. The Der Wunderfizz machines returns from Origins, as well as the Panzer Soldat, with a new look. A dragon is seen in the trailer a few times, once in the form of a stone wall, and once as a real life dragon, breathing flames and eating zombies, similar to Cerberus in Mob of the Dead. A utility similar to the Gravity Lifts from Moon called the Wundersphere. One of the specialist weapons are also used, the Gravity Spikes, and a new weapon that can be upgraded called "The ancient bow".
