Hello, and welcome to my youtube channel. Please note I don't use Google+ or Facebook (I do apologise most profusely).

wikidub in the mix is the introduction video for unsubscribed users to view and get an idea of what this channel is about. If you like what you see (and hear) then please subscribe - thanks!

Basically, wikidub started uploading videos of reggae tunes and records on the 30th January 2008, he was one of the original uploaders of taking videos of records playing and deejaying and mixing while recording on a digital camera. The first tune uploaded was Lot's Wife by Prince Allah.

Since then wikidub has uploaded 400 videos and counting. Later on in 2008 wikidub changed his style and started experimenting with digital effects and direct analogue to digital sounds. Some earlier experiments were more successful than others, but he developed a style that mixes video to match the sounds of the record to hopefully a visually appealing result.

Some videos like Johnny Clarke's "Rude Boy" and Vibronic's "Deep Roots dub" have proved to be highly successful and popular, and I thank everyone who has made positive remarks and subscribed from those videos.

The videos I make are of the records and cds I have in my collection of reggae artists, dating from the early 1970's till the modern day. I like to play the tune with its respective dub, or version. Dub is the song mixed by the recording engineer using delay and echo and effects.

So, please check out my videos and enjoy the tunes I am very happy to share. And also check out these great musicians other music on-line or in stores. If any artist wishes that I remove a tune I will do so unhesitatingly, just contact me. I share these tunes for the love I have of the most spiritual, uplifting, meaningful music that is reggae and dub.

When not being a reggae "vee-jay" wikidub is an artist called Justin Bailey.

Justin paints and draws and takes photos. I work in both figurative and abstract ways.

My art work can be viewed at my website:
