First up, Verizon announced today that it will be rolling out with Voice over LTE later this year. AT&T previously reported that it will be supporting Voice over LTE as well, so this comes to no surprise that competitors are joining the game.

Voice over LTE allows you to make calls using the LTE network instead of old 3G technology currently in our phones. The benefit of this would be higher quality HD audio, similar to using Facetime audio in iOS 7. Reports are claiming that Voice over LTE will be a key feature in iOS 8 and the iPhone 6, so expect Verizon and AT&T to roll out the feature close to the release.

Yesterday I told you guys about the video of an iPhone 4 running a Jailbreak on iOS 7.1.1. Although it was cool and all, the iPhone 4 is a few years old and only some people still use one.

Twitter user Blue9057 posted a video on YouTube show an iPhone 5S running an unsigned app on iOS 7.1.1. This basically means he was able to Jailbreak the device and run apps without going through the App Store. This is the same thing that happens when we download apps using Cydia. Although we probably won't see a public Jailbreak for anything past iOS 7.1, the developer version of iOS 8 is expected to be released in 2 weeks, where the Jailbreak team will get cracking on exploits.

Previously I told you guys of a report from Brightwire claiming that Apple will be adding NFC to chips to the iPhone 6. This report also noted that Apple made a deal with China's UnionPay point of service systems.

Although NFC is rumored with almost every new iPhone release, Morgan Stanley believes that the iPhone 6 will finally get the feature. Not too much is said in the report other than Apple will be using NXP, the semiconductor company that currently makes the M7 motion co-processor on the iPhone 5S.

Finally, my buddy Dom over at Macmixing uploaded an awesome video using his iPhone 6 dummy. In the video, Dom matches up the iPhone 5S to the iPhone 6 and even includes a demo of what the iPhone 6's 4.7-inch display would look like running apps. The difference in the screen sizes is noticeable side-by-side the iPhone 5S, folks wanting a larger display shouldn't be disappointed with this year's iPhone.
