Films 2ème année : réalisés en 4 mois dans le cadre de notre partenariat avec le festival international du film d'animation d'Annecy, ces films font l'ouverture de chaque séance de projection.

Second year films : produced in 4 months within the framework of the 25 year partnership between Gobelins and the Annecy Festival in France : these films open the daily screening during the festival in Annecy (a different film each day).

Le workshop « Cartooning for Peace », est né d'une proposition du dessinateur Plantu, qui souhaitait donner une plus grande visibilité aux nombreux dessinateurs de presse qui se battent pour la paix et la défense des droits de l'homme, en confiant aux étudiants de « Concepteur et réalisateur de films d'animation » un travail sur l'importance du sens que l'on donne aux images.
Ce projet d'une durée d'un mois a été intégré, dans le programme de 1ère année pour permettre aux étudiants d'utiliser les acquis de cette année d'apprentissage, tout en s'initiant à la réalisation et aux différentes étapes de la fabrication dans le cadre d'une commande imposée.

The « Cartooning for Peace » workshop was born from an idea from famous French cartoonist Plantu, who wished to offer higher levels of visibility to the many syndicated cartoonists fighting for peace and Human Rights around the world by giving "Animated film design and direction" students the chance to work on a project focused on the importance of the meaning that is given to pictures.
This month-long project was included in the 1st year curriculum to allow students to use the skills acquired throughout the year while gaining first-hand experience in directing and the different steps of creation in the context of an imposed order.
