No, low-energy nuclear reactions do not use thorium. The most robust systems currently being tested use primarily nickel and hydrogen. Other precious metals such as palladium have also been used, as well as a number of proprietary alloys.

Good job Ruby. This was a very informative interview. Dr. Storms' theory is may or may not be 100% correct but he does explain some important concepts in a way that is clear and understandable. He has a knack for that and you have a knack for asking the right questions.

This method of cold fusion is currently undergoing study at Missouri University. The school has just received 5.5 million dollars in funding from billionaire Sidney Kimmel. The head of the research is Dr. Robert Duncan, vice-chancellor of research at MU and an expert in calorimetry. He was featured in the 60 Segments "Cold Fusion is Hot Again." He originally was skeptical but became a researcher himself after examining the device in this video, built by the company Energetics Technologies.

Thank you for your input Dr. Zawodny. I agree with you 100%. It is a shame that your entire 2-hour presentation is not available to accompany these slides. I am sure a lot of people would enjoy seeing the entire presentation. If you could provide the entirety of the presentation, or a place where I could find it, I would update this video without hesitation. The same holds true for the other 3 presentations given by your colleagues, and your 2009 presentation as well.
