Kids On The Block is a compilation of the brightest young teen singers and performers from around the world. Although, we cannot feature every one that is on their way to fame and fortune, we believe this semblance of kids is possibly the best group of talented kids ever created anywhere. They come from all different corners of the world. We do not just feature local kids. It is truly a global community of talent. Let's tell you about each one. 1. Karlijn Verhagen as of September, 2012 is 15 1/2 years old. She comes from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Karlijn is a consummate performer who speaks the English language with unbelievable proficiency. Her influences of music , surprisingly, are embedded in soul. Form such legends as Etta James, Roberta Flack, James Brown, Christina Aguilera. Incredibly, Karlijn has a masterful powerful voice that resonates in every corner of a place she does live performances.Her uncanny ability to sing at such high level is mystical. Karlijn has never lived a day in the States. Yet when she sings. you would think she was raised in a Gospel singing family from Harlem. She is on pace now to break into the music industry and really make a name for herself. Many, including yours truly, have compared her to super diva Beyonce. She is that good. Karlijn is the sweetest and most caring person in the world. She always thinks of others first. With that kind of attitude and this incredible god given talent , her amazing beauty and smile will be a a golden standard in the music indfustry for others to follow. Her deep Cuban roots, however, show not only in her dark beauty but in the way she entertains and performs with that same Latin passion. Elizabeth has been singing, dancing and modeling from the age of 3. She has gone through formal training in every area of performing arts. From TV commercials, to singing National Anthems for Professional Teams , Miami Marlins in Baseball, and Miami Heat in basketball. At the tender age of 14, Elizabeth is a budding superstar, going back and forth from her home in Miami to Los Angeles to perform , go on TV auditions and even movie opportunities. In Miami Fl, she is a household name, and very active in her community doing charity events and other performances. Elizabeth is one of the greatest teen humanitarians on the planet. She volunteers her time to many great causes, Cancer Society and Animal Rights. She is a beautiful young girl with a great warm smile and one of the most amazing voices anywhere.
