CN rebrand history:
And here's a little history of CN's rebranding:
1.) "Classic" checkerboard look: October 1992 to January 2, 1995: basically the cheapest, logos set on checkerboard background are interspersed with show clips.
2.) Checkerboard "Mark II": January 2, 1995 to Spring 1998: Moving checkerboard backgrounds now, usually tailored for the specific show. Characters are pasted on this background - the effect is still sorta cheap but cool.
3.) Checkerboard "Mark III": Summer 1996 to Spring 1998: Only used on four shows as far as I remember - Superfriends, Addams Family, Roger Ramjet, and Rocky and Bullwinkle. Similar to Mark II but with nifty 3D computer effects to make it look really nice.
4.) "Classic" Powerhouse: Used from late 1997 to Spring '98. These sets of bumpers would normally take a first-person view through different colored themes. Example: A patient rolling through a green-tinted hospital all the way to his hospital bed.
5.) Powerhouse "Mark II": Spring 1998 to sometime in 2004: The award-winning identity created by Primal Screen, and CN's first "big" revamp. All bumps and promos using this style had some version of "Powerhouse" intertwined with other music, most notably the show's theme. For the first few years, all bumps corresponded to dayparts: yellow for mornings, green for afternoons, blue for primetime and weekends, and black/purple for late nights.
6.) Cartoon Network City: Introduced in 2004, featuring different CN characters interacting in a CGI city.
7.) Yes!: The alternative to the City era, often featured characters on a red background or stick puppets of a character.
8.) Fall is Something Grownups Invented: Combines animated backgrounds with live-action kids, and also includes "The Hives", who wrote the song for the rebrand.
9.) Noods: Based off of Kidrobot's DIY vinyl toys. Often has a Nood portayed as a CN character on colored differently.
10.) CHECK it: The current CN rebrand, which introduced CN's current logo, and is basically somewhat of a nod to the Checkerboard era. As the brand developed, International countries have already taken effect of the new branding, such as Australia and the Philippines, under the slogan "It's a Fun Thing!" Several other studios have taken effect to extend the branding, such as Awesome Incorporated, using 2D animation morphs of heads from different Cartoon Network characters.

yo man fyi its been a long damn time since ive posted anything, college and work have been insane! well now that im off work all weekend if i find some more cartoon network ads ill letu know. theres a few dvds i havent even uploaded yet with more speed racer and then other random cartoon network shows thoughout 97-2002 (mainly 99-02), got some ed edd and eddy in the mix too lol. ill message you if i upload anything or you just peak through my uploads throughout the weekend. take it ez bro

hey man thanks for your interest, i do have some more, throught this summer ive been converting all my vhs's to dvd, i know i have 1 more for a fact just have to find it but some tapes couldve been mis marked so itll be trial and error lol (i havent uploaded casuse i've been doing all that converting). Ill let you know once i find some, and man youve got an insane amount of awesome videos!
