Wolves have been hunting elk as their main source of food since time began, as the Creator intended it to be. Mans evil, fear and interference have been devastating to the wolf and to wildlife in general. The Creator created all creatures for a purpose, wolves are part of the balance of all things. Wolves keep the elk and deer herds strong and healthy. Mans ignorance is the enemy.

Social, family-oriented, and highly adaptable—wolves have a lot in common with humans. And while there's no record of a healthy, wild wolf ever attacking a person in the United States, old myths and fears plus competition for land and prey threaten the survival of this wild canine.
When European settlers arrived in America, they saw the wolves as a threat and waged war on them. More than a million were poisoned, shot or trapped. As settlers moved West, wolves were wiped out, the wilds of Canada became their last stronghold. Now that some of the Gray Wolves are back in Northern America, hunters, ranchers, poachers and trappers are trying to wipe them out in America again, and it seems like the American Government is on their side. Out of fear, ignorance, arrogance and extreme bloodlust these people are trying to kill the wolf off again. Many of these people don't want the wolves back and they believe that the wolves are going to kill their cattle, and interfere with hunting elk and deer. Many of the people want to exterminate the wolf here in America again, they see the wolf as a threat to them in some way, much of this is from ignorance and fear, this is just pathetic cowardice.
Wolves have been in YellowStone Park for the past ten years, after 70 years of their absence there.
Ranchers in the Southwest can't tolerate the few Mexican Gray Wolves that are left. How pathetic is this? They whine about the wolves killing their cattle, when their losses come from disease, reproduction and weather. This is what happens when the feds cater to ranchers, they will never be happy.
But, remember that there are many people who do want them here and are fighting to keep them here, who do not want them hunted, trapped, tortured and killed. There are many organizations that are dedicated to stopping this madness of killing and torturing wolves. Let The Wolves Run Free!!
Your amber eyes and coat of ashes,
I see sorrow in your face,
With the pain the young one thrashes,
a trophy for the human race,
Hunted down I feel the heartache,
from ancient dens the wolves must flee,
Misunderstood beliefs we must break,
education is the key.
I saw a pack when in full flight,
Brothers / sisters chasing starlight,
Their hearts are yearning to be free of our world.
In the night an Alpha male howls,
it's a song of such beauty,
All they hear is Hollywood growls,
and not the call to his family,
Never safe on the lonely mountain,
the guns are heard in the deep valley,
Another notch on the butt of a rifle,
a cub added to the death tally.
Shadows dancing on moonlit skies,
Leave them be don't wave them goodbye,
All they want is to be free of our world.
Look in his face, Look in his eyes, there's only grace, there's no disguise
Look at their life, what do you see, don't give them strife, let them run free,
Let the Wolves run free!!
