An ode to the era of 8 and 16-bit video games. This is a short film for nostalgic gamers. If you've never owned an NES or a Super Nintendo, you probably shouldn't bother watching this video. It will only frighten and confuse you.
Special thanks to all of the brilliant artists, designers, programmers and composers at Capcom, Namco and Nintendo (circa 1980-1992) for monopolizing my childhood and thus inspiring this fan film.
Personal thanks to Nathaniel Atcheson, Maritza Amaya, Brandon Muller, John Hilder, Darren Uhl and Will Prescott for encouraging the creation and dissemination of this largely self-indulgent exercise.
NES boot-up sound effect (originally a proton pack sound effect from Ghost Busters) by Richard Beggs and Tom McCarthy Jr. It was the perfect aural depiction of raw, '80s-style, technological power, and, therefore, is an excellent fit for the old school Nintendo.
