Have to? no, but having a hardened pineal gland is no fun.
I suggest meditating to it and see what happens.
Tho keep in mind not everyone is ready, the pineal gland has the most unstabilizing energy of them all..

You may feel it instantly, your focus should be fully shifted to the frequencies areas 30seconds into it, 10minutes is enough to notice a 24h effect.. Meditating to it is requiered for lasting&climbing effects.

Tho what i think you are refering to is likely related to emotional expression and being "emotional" in general, a throat chakra thing. go for either the cyan (179-184) or pink (233,1-233,6) version (or any other octave of the same frequencies).

yes, all chakras are frequency based, sure, there is a "middle frequency" to each chakra.. this one is just gliding through it all, and some more.

An aditional 12 months into the future of playing that one set without downtime and I'm a few days from fully recovering (soft overlapping clouds of white'ish MagentaOrangeBluePink when i close my eyes (aka balance + male)).
Thankfully the pain was compensated for with an equal ammount of learning.
