In my opinion formal education is a very valuable thing, which helps individuals to grow professionally. It should not be a big deal to get a job after.

To make your resume more attractive I would suggest to show the study projects you did at the school. Not everything, but whatever is relevant to the job title.

Most of the people suggest to do not run into private life answering the "tell me about yourself" question. There are so many job related things to cover instead.
