http://www.youtube.com/watc...I finally got an acceptable run done. There are still lots of improvements to be made, but this is ok for now.
Please excuse the random flickering of the screen at certain points. I really don't know what to do against that.
Personal comments:
- Intro+Shadow Mario 0:03 - 8:40 : Nothing too major here, but not exactly a good intro.
- Bianco Hills 8:41 - 20:06 : Pretty meh stage. Had some costly mistakes here, but a decent Petey 2 I guess, so that's good.
- Ricco Harbour 21:16 - 31:21 : Bad RH, unfortunately. Missed the triple jump on shine 1. Missed the Caged Shine. Missed a red coin. All rather costly mistakes.
- Gelato Beach 32:35 - 45:41 : Was ok, I guess. Fell down on shine 2 and 4. Decent red coins luck.
- Pinna Park 46:57 - 59:27 : Pretty good PP, actually. Only the death on shine 6 hurts a bit. But solid shines 1-5 make up for that.
- Sirena Beach 1:00:15 - 1:15:23 : Mixed bag. Horrible Mantas. Good Secrets. Very bad luck on King Boo (mistook the fruit for the pepper). Very nice Shadow Mario.
- Noki Bay 1:15:40 - 1:27:45 : Good enough. Decent Eel fight, except for the fact that I miss the cutscene skip. Death on Secret, but only an early death. Bad Shadow Mario, though.
- Pianta Village 1:28:16 - 1:40:25 : Not that good. Chain Chomps troll'd me hard. Good Goopy Inferno. Nice Big Chain Chomp route. Not so good luck on Secret. Missed every single trick on Piantas in Need, ugh. Bad Shadow Mario
- Corona Mountain 1:41:04 - 1:43:03 : Atrocious. 30 Seconds death or something.
- Final Bowser fight 1:43:33 : Horrendous. I tried to charge up my rocket while ground pounding, but I did it too early, so my load got cancelled. He decided it would be cool to burn me two times, which he usually doesn't do.
Overall, a very bad way to end a run. Oh well.
It is safe to say that I could have gotten a much better run. My luck was pretty bad and there were some stupid mistakes too. Also, my C-stick doesn't really work properly...which is why my camera is so messed up throughout the run.
For now, however, enjoy the run.
