From allmusic.com, album review by Ron Wynn: The specter of instant success has hounded vocalist Junior Giscombe ever since his debut single "Mama Used to Say" turned him into an immediate sensation on both sides of the Atlantic in the early '80s. He's never been able to duplicate that song, although he's made some serviceable albums, including this mid-'80s release. There were some nice songs; Stevie Wonder appeared on "Do You Really Want My Love," and Dexter Wansel toned down the fusion excesses and provided him with some decent material. But Giscombe remains locked into the "one-hit wonder" syndrome, and will probably have to have a huge album rather than merely successful ones to escape it.
