The leather straps at 2:11 in the video "Pulling The Pin On A Live WW2 Hand Grenade!! (73)" look to be "dog collars" that attach the sling to the Mosin rifle that was used by the Russians. Seeing has how the Grenade you found appeared to be a Russian F1 model, the straps being "dog collars" would make sense.

Hey smiley123483 the gun is a russian PPSH41 cal.7.62 Tokarev which fits even into pistols.

on the last film where you find the ww2 submachine gun it is a mp40 german used it also built bewtween 1940--1945 made approx. 1 mill worth in 2013 $239.90 if you restore it properly

this makes me wanna fly to Germany just to go metal detecting.

hi dan just thought that u might wana know that the tooth paste tubes u find every so often some of them might not be tooth paste because germans used to use those tube for cheese paste belive it or not .. and theyd have cheese paste in tooth paste tubes in there ration packs u might already know this but I just thought id tell u :)

Just watched the vid with the machine gun. It is a russian ppsh 41 i am pretty sure.

So I just watched your video titled "The Most Exciting Treasure Find Ever!!!! SECRET BOXES & GOLD!! (70)" As you were digging up the phone you came across a piece of wood that said (vigyazz! az ellenség lehallgat) however the last part looked like this azellenséglehallgat. Which you thought was way to long of a word. hah, and you were right! I just thought you'd like to know what it translated to in English, and that would be "Watch out! the adversary eavesdrops" Keep metal detecting your videos are great! ^_^

I just started actually metal detecting today at a old school house thats down my road, and the first signal i dig up is a silver piece to a pocket watch! I also found other small stuff like an old hoe and square nails, but other than that, i cant wait to go back!

I think i now why the Grenade not exploded.The Lever was too rusty and not jumped away as you pulled the Pin.Or did the Lever jumped off as you trew it?? By the Way this Grenade is a defense grenade,you should have serious cover when using it the Fragments have a larger death radius than you can trow it.

why cant we comment on the video and you found a ppsh31 russian sub machine gun that is worth a lot of money trust me and so is that grenade oh and you found a trip wire bomb and a trip wire holder also worth a lot of money alltoghether you could ge about £500 on them 3 items maybe more. love your vids keep doing it.

you either found the barrel of a large artillery piece or a good sized tank.

The can thing you found with the gun is a german hand grenade. There used to be a wooden handle on it.

Whatever happened with the Artillery/Tank barrel you found? Did you get it excavated?

I think you'll find that it's not a tank but an artillery gun.....measure the barrel....looks like a 2.1cm Kanone made by Krupp for the 2.1cm Schwerer Gustav....siege artillery.......I tell you what dan it would be so cool to go digging where you go...you are finding some really good items....hope that company name will give you a headsup

the oak leaves are an officer in the Wehrmacht

In the video with the gold rings and the german soldiers belt buckle...you found the oak leaves which is a sign of rank...and the little round button with a clip on the back looks very much like if not is a cap badge....very much WW1 (german)
