Song I wrote for a couple who is near to my heart. :)
The death of her dream, made her alive in Christ.
The light in her eyes reflect his face.
Tragedy did not make her who she is,
It showed her whose she is.
Stronger still was he made in her weakness.
Closer still did she draw the throne.
And as her first love faded away,
Her loving Father showed her his grace.
His faith was strong, but her body couldnt hold.
They had forty years together before God took her home.
How could he know that the best was yet to come
Though it looked like the time had passed, love would find him again.

She made her place in his life
in the room above his garage.
Just a simple place to stay became her refuge.
Their hearts were drawn together with
each moment they shared.
