Stress in America: Our Health at Risk took place on January 11, 2012 at the Newseum's Knight Studio in Washington, D.C. The event focused on the health consequences of stress, especially for caregivers and those living with chronic illness, and featured Norman Anderson, PhD, CEO and Executive Vice President of APA; Suzanne Bennett Johnson, PhD, President of APA; Katherine Nordal, PhD, Executive Director for Professional Practice at APA; Jonathan Lever, JD, EdM, Vice President of Health Strategy and Innovation at YMCA of the USA. The event was moderated by Susan Dentzer, editor-in-chief of Health Affairs and one of the nation's premiere health policy journalists.
