Carl, CEO and president of voodoo children conglomeration the name Voodo children derive from his Haitian parents, since popular belief is all Haitians know or pratice voodou. He decided to take the stereotype and turn it into a positive one.
He grew up in New York and Haiti which made him aware of his descendant's poverty. He also loved listening to all kind of music especially, kompa which is Haitian music and freestyle from the Furious 5 and raps from Notorious B.I.G. "Ready to die" which convince him about Hip Hop.
Then in 1995 he began free-styling in middle school during lunch time where he got plenty of props among his peers for his rapping ability. He also discovered a talent for saying ill rhymes so, he pursued it. Later that summer of '95 he moved from New Row, N.Y. to Haiti. Where he and (josh a.k.a. Go Getta, Luigi a.k.a. Blitz lumberjack, Mr Konfusion a.k.a. G-money Benjamin) and many others formed a crew they called vdc clique. Later it was dismantle because members were mostly expelled from school. Later in 1997 he was signed to a label in Haiti, but never released a single. In 1999 he moved back to NY to finish school, and in 2001 he moved to Florida. He attended university and pursued a career in computer science. Then in July 15, 2002 his father died from cancer. Heart broken from the incident, he decided to devote his time to music where his heart was in.
Later in January, 2003 he released his debut album under the alias Pat-Riot. The album was named the uprise story of Carlito P. Scorpio. Then in September, 2004 he released uprise story 2ND chapter. Then in February, 2005 he released the V.C. compilation Vol 1. Then in June, 2005 he released V.C. compilation Vol 2. During this time the VC label also released Iceberg Tha King and Moe Trill mix-tapes. In July he released the P-riot album called Trinity Alignment. The forth album was also release that same year in December. Boldly titled THE ONE MAN ARMY, following the undergroud classic mix tape called BLACK DEATH. He is also a Producer, mix and mastering engineer, song writer and emcee ; plays the guitar, keyboard and bass. He also holds a Doctorate Degree in Sound and engineer, Music Production and Lyric Composition
He also pledges to give back to his community and start a Foundation for underprivileged children in Haiti called "The Lost & forgotten." His goal is to awaken the world to the harsh life conditions in third world countries and to be an advocate for the hopeless as a philanthropist.
