Video game music, mostly. I'm in hopes of creating some parody videos soon, too.
About Me:

I'm a Finnish femme fata- ...no, forget about that. Just another geeky girl with an underdose of wits and uncomfortably large amount of unemployed creative spirit. I don't know what else I am, besides a VG weirdo. I'm not Japan-oriented enough to be an otaku, but I also play so few games that I can't be called a hardcore vg nerd, either. Hey, but I play almost only Japanese videogames, if that counts towards anything. ^^' Been interested in Western games lately, too, so I'm not exactly a puritanist. Heck, if it has good music, count me in!

I'm quite fond of arts. Music is not the only thing, but a major part of my interests. No, I don't really play any instrument, as I was too lazy to take my lessons, but I like toying around with sequencers and random instruments now and then. I also like culture-related things and even though I can't remember much afterwards, I read and listen to stories, poems, anecdotes, history and other similar things almost daily. Magazines, books, Internet articles, whatever I may have under my nose at the moment.

BTW, if I have picked your videos in my playlists and you'd like me to remove them, don't hesitate to message me. In my greed for music and other things I often forget the videos do indeed belong to someone else. The best music is always on games I don't own myself. :P

---

I'm no intellect. More like a Brainy Smurf of real life who simply doesn't know when to shut up. I think they're called besserwissers. Yeah, I'm one of those. :}

It's a leaf of Japanese maple. You had something else in your mind? ;)
Country:
Finland
Interests:
Video games (I prefer tactical and turn-based RPGs - Nippon Ichi games are my piece of pudding from the Sea of Gehenna. In addition to those, almost anything goes. However, I generally avoid hugely popular games and series. Never been too fond of mainstream.), video game music (and VGM programming/composing), cats & other animals, manga, Pocky sticks (and other treats), samurai stuff, certain childhood cartoons from the 80s and 90s, comedy/parody things (YTP/STP, blooper/glitch videos, and so forth), some fantasy/sci-fi things (fantasy interests are mainly in form of MMORPGs and Terry Pratchett novels, my scifi love consists of Transformers and some random Star Wars/Star Trek/Robocop etc. thingamajics), folklore, Japanese and Korean randomness, old commercials, COFFEE, long walks in the nature and talking bullocks with my sister and friends. Oh, and did I already say coffee?
Movies:
I like Studio Ghibli and other anime movies, Disney (and other movies with musical numbers), everything with the holy trio of Tim Burton, Johnny Depp and Danny Elfman, some horror/splatter movies starring Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger and of course other horror movies as well. Even ém ancient ones with toy spiders and wiggly rubber bats. (I watch any horror movie as long as it has a pinch of humour and/or the "horror" isn't completely made of gore.) Pure comedy and scifi movies are a bit tricky - I don't watch them intentionally unless I'm really bored or just want to "educate" myself on old classics. Animations are pretty good, too. Nowadays I prefer 2D ("drawn") style and claymation over completely computer-made 3D. On the cartoon side I've developed somewhat of an unhealthy obsession with Transformers Armada. It's a sad life, really. I'm also interested in voice acting. Neither my own voice or my acting skills are suitable for any of the like (I really wish my voice didn't get stuck in this nasal helium phase - I want my womanly voice someday!) , but there are certain actors and actresses I like to keep an eye of.
Music:
Thanks to my habit of listening to video game music (that can be anything) and mother's taste on the instrumental side (that can also be anything), I don't exactly hate any kind of music, I just like some types less than others. Most of the music I prefer is fully instrumental, but I also like certain vocal pieces and a cappella. (I tend to scrap the lyrics and concentrate on the sound and melodies playing in the background of singing. Nonsense lyrics, where the singing seems to interact much more with the accompaniment, appeal to me the most). I listen to jazz, ska, funk, synthesizer music, ambient and world music, and some (geeky) stuff from the 80s (and 60s, 70s and 90s). I can't go past bands and artists like Yellow Magic Orchestra, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Klaus Wunderlich and Vince DiCola. My favourite type of music is somewhat pointing towards the elevator kind, with some punchier-sounding brainfarts here and there. :D
Books:
My all-time favourite novelist is Terry Pratchett, but I also read horror novels (classic ones are dear to my heart), and some selected classics when I feel like it (no, reading is not an effort, but getting some books to read is). Not that I read anything that would make me smarter, nor am I an ambitious reader. Nevertheless, I try to read something everyday. Lately it's been just YouTube comments and newspaper. xP
