Does the vaio have a "HDMI PORT, if yes then it should be a"HD SOUND CARD. alot of computers and laptops claim to have HD SOUND but do not just because of the software they sometimes install. the same software is written for the most expensive laptops and the most cheapiest laptop, but only in that "1 series, in other different vaio series software mabe different, so if you have the chepiest laptop in that series then no it may not have "hd sound. you see i paid £1700 for my laptop, so it will have the best parts but the cheaper ones may not have...what series laptop do you have..
