Hey all! I'm Patrick from the far east coast of Canada (Prince Edward Island). I am currently in Costa Rica completing a masters in responsible management and sustainable economic development at the United Nations mandated University for Peace (www.upeace.org).

Instead of doing a write-a-ton-read-a-ton traditional blog, I've decided to set up a video blog. I hope you enjoy it!

If this is your first time to my site, please start by checking out my introduction video, and then onward to the other videos. And please either subscribe or check back often as I will constantly be adding new (and different!) videos!

The response from my videos has been great -- thanks everyone! For that reason, I have decided I will be adding videos from trips I've done in South America and Europe. Additionally, I'll be adding miscellaneous videos I have, which I would like to share with the world. I hope you enjoy!
About Me:

-----------------------------

About me:

I live to go against the social norms that rule our little world, and I live to the best of my abilities. You'll never hear me say "I wish...," instead, you'll hear me say "I will..." I love and appreciate my life, and I'm passionate and dedicated to everything I do.

I'm an adventurer and an opportunist, and I do my best to soak up every part of life, not just a little bit of it. University-educated in business, but more worldly-educated, I'm an overall information-lover: technology, science, environment, current events, world affairs, and governments/politics, etc. I play a few musical instruments and have travelled forty-some countries on five continents. I'm a big-time thrill-seeker and have tried most extreme sports including sky diving, bungee jumping, paragliding, canyoning, white water rafting and mountain biking. I'm also an advanced PADI-certified scuba diver.

Arguably my number one interest is the outer world of possibilities and experiencing new and exciting things. The main way I feed this interest is by travelling. I love meeting new people and learning about them and their experiences. Cultures fascinate me, as do languages.

Lastly, I will do pretty much anything, assuming someone else does it first. If not, chances are I'll do it first anyway!

If you're still with me, in a five-word summary of who I am: I am a professional liver :)
