'House of Clashes' is the first single off PHFAT's new album 'HAPPINESS MACHINES' (available for free download from phfat.com after the 22nd of July) and combines lo-fi aesthetics with Surrealist Art House, cheesy horror and Tragi-Comedy. It was directed with a strong focus on off-kilter portraiture, jarring composition and opposing combinations of beauty and gore. The video is a representation of everything the song says, everything the band enjoys and everything the director has been dying to try.

Recipe:

500ml of Milk from a Virgins Nipple
500ml of Cream from an aged Nipple
8 eggs from a golden chicken
a shitload of sugar


Pour the milk and the cream into a pot over a smallish flame and bring up to just below boiling point

separate the egg yolks and put them in a bigass bowl and mix them with sugar and beat the fuck out of them with a whisk... add sugar to taste... beat them till they look like they do in the video...

Take the milk and cream off the stove and SLOWLY add that shit to the fucking eggs an sugar whilst stirring(if you add it too fast you just make scrambled eggs)

Flambe the Jagermeister (put it in a pan and let it touch the flame so the alcohol catches fire - let the alcohol burn for a while - if there is too much alcohol in it then the icecream won't freeze) and add it slowly to the bowl of eggs and milk and shit

add enough so that it tastes rad... (don't let Nat confuse you - it tastes fucking rad - kind of a herby-sort-of-caramelish flavour)

Now put the whole fucking mixture back on the stove on a low flame (if you let it get too hot you scramble the eggs) and stir that shit till it coats the back of a spoon...

Let it cool down and stick it in the muvvuking freeeeezer...

TADA.... Ice cream...

P.H.Fat (Narch, Mike and Disco) are three Cape Town-based maniacs who make psychedelic-bass-rap that smacks hard enough to make you sweat mayonnaise. We caught up with the boys for their Assembly gig as part of their Worldwide Success Tour to find out, well, all about their success.

Hosted by Olmeca Edition Black, the P.H.Fat Worldwide Success Tour party on the 25th of June atemphasised P.H.Fat's successful attempt at world domination as they blew minds with their insane lyrical genius and identifiable electronic sound that blasted out of the nearly blown speakers. This party also featured the likes of Felix Laband who played live for the first time in years, as well as Sibot, O'ltak and Card on Spoeks, all of whom rocked the party alongside the groundbreaking P.H.Fat.

PHFAT released the EP titled "You are going to Die" at The Assembly in Cape Town on 24 February 2012.
