The Queen of Melody
The exquisite singing of Lata Mangeshkar.
All performances are from "Lata - An Era In An Evening", a once in a lifetime concert held in Mumbai on 9th March 1997. My source is a UK Channel Four TV recording from 17th August 1997. Unfortunately I only recorded the last 65 mins of the 105 min broadcast, which itself was an edited version of the full concert.
My sincere thanks to Sony Entertainment TV who made this concert possible - I only wish they would release a commercial DVD of this wonderful performance in its entirety.
