I worked on this project in my graphic design class my senior year of high school. My friend, Carlos Banos, and I decided to undertake our first stop motion animation and we think that it turned out decently. I prepared the solve and actually moved the cube while Carlos would take the pictures and make sure that the cube was aligned properly. Later, we were proud to hear that our project, "Cube Coming to Life" won 2nd place (right behind Carlos' fully animated movie trailer for T3 Productions) at the California State Fair and brought home a prize. The cube, a DaYan LingYun 3x3x3 and "practice cubes" sponsored by www.speedcubeshop.com.
