About Chris Talley Armstrong and The Bluegrass Shack

My name is Chris Talley Armstrong, and I love to play music! My husband and I own The Bluegrass Shack in New Athens, IL. I have 60 private students and another 50 or so group students. You'll see videos of me and my students, jam sessions here at The Bluegrass Shack, instructional videos, and occasionally just songs I like. I play over 25 instruments, but teach mainly banjo, fiddle & guitar. Although I read music and have been classically trained on flute, you're going to see mostly bluegrass here!
