Fred is a very sweet, gentle and tame big wild young raccoon who has visited us only a handful of times from November 2012 and part of 2013. Several more videos were taken of this handsome and sweet boy which are posted on our channel under the same title.

NOTE to commenters: Fred lives in a region where there hasn't been a case of raccoon rabies for over 25 years which is tracked and verified by the State's Public Health Dept.

We are fortunate to be able to observe a variety of wildlife since we reside next to a protected preserve where raccoons are one of the many animals consider it home. We hope you will also enjoy watching this video of the close encounter of our charming furry friends.

Please note Fred is not our pet and is a wild raccoon thus please follow your local wildlife guidelines for the safety of humans and animal wildlife alike.

Additional note: I'm very well aware of the dangers of interacting with wild animals since I professionally work with a variety of dangerous wild species. No children nor pets are ever harmed, especially the wild animals captured in these videos.

I basically wonder why all these people are protesting the Zimmerman verdict, even though it is hard to see clear evidence one way or the other. Yet in more clear cut cases of wrongdoing, like the cases of Kimani Gray and Johnathon Cuevas, hardly any cries for justice, even though video evidence and eyewitness accounts more clearly favor the victim?

Why was the Zimmerman case made into such a federal case by Obama, Al Sharpton, and many celebrities from day one, but no one really spoke out that much about Kimani Gray and Johnathan Cuevas?

I haven't followed the Zimmerman case very close, but it seems like it is hard to really rule without a doubt that he is guilty. Did Zimmerman handle the situation questionably? Maybe. Did Trayvon Martin respond questionably? Maybe. But the one thing I thought the case lacked was evidence beyond a reasonable doubt for manslaughter.

But these other cases? Well I think the evidence of wrongdoing is much greater and clearer. Yet people stayed silent. Obama didn't care about those people. So why is Obama caring about a less clear cut case? Why is Obama focused on seeking "justice" in a case that is not very clear, rather than focus on all the other cases where the evidence is much more clear? Yet Obama ignores the clearer cases, and focuses on an unclear one.

Sounds suspicious to say the least.

"As a society, do we want to have total surveillance? Do we want to give the government the ability to identify individuals wherever they are . . . without any immediate probable cause?" asked Laura Donohue, a Georgetown University law professor who has studied government facial databases. "A police state is exactly what this turns into if everybody who drives has to lodge their information with the police."

In the book "Ravening Wolves," Christian evangelist, Monica Farrell, gives the three-phase process by which the Roman Catholic church conquers a nation:

Phase 1: A crusade of prayer claiming a country for the Virgin Mary
Phase 2: Dedication of that country to the Virgin Mary
Phase 3: A "holy warfare" to possess that country

This process is underway in the United States. It began on May 10, 1846, "when one Archbishop and 22 U.S. bishops met in Baltimore, MD, the first Catholic diocese in the U.S., for the 6th Provincial Council of Baltimore. On that date they petitioned Rome to have the Blessed Virgin, under the title of the Immaculate Conception, named as Patroness of these United States, 28 at the time. In 1847 that petition was granted by Pope Pius IX, and Mary, under the title of her Immaculate Conception, became Patroness of the U.S."

On November 20, 1959, phases 1 & 2 were completed when the Roman Catholic church dedicated the United States to the Virgin Mary at the dedication of the "National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception" in Washington, D.C. On that day, Patrick A. O'Boyle, Archbishop of Washington, read a prayer which "put the United States of America into the hands of Mary Immaculate."

Phase 3, a "holy warfare" to possess the United States, is underway and is nearing completion. Phase 3 involves four steps:

1. The formation of an independent Roman Catholic state

2. The raising of a Roman Catholic army assisted by other Roman Catholic armies

3. A governmental decree that only Roman Catholics can serve in government

4. CONFISCATION OF ALL WEAPONS

Steps 1 and 2 have already been accomplished. Steps 3 and 4 are being accomplished as you read this. Immigration reform, the plan to legalize America's illegal aliens, Cuba's decision to allow its citizens to travel to the U.S., as well as the record number of Roman Catholic Hispanics that went to Congress this year, are all leading up to Step 3.

The school shootings in Newtown, CT, and the Oslo, Norway shootings, as well as many other shootings, including the shooting of Sen. Gabrielle Gifford, were all part of the plan to disarm American citizens. This will complete Step 4 and usher in the nightmare which the Bible calls The Great Tribulation.

Richard Garriott, the award winning designer and creator of the Ultima franchise, makes his triumphant return to the genre that earned him a place in the Hall of Fame and a Lifetime Achievement Award. Shroud of the Avatar is the first installment of Richard's new vision and represents the reinvention of the classic, fantasy role-playing which he pioneered. A fantasy role-playing game that will focus more on player choices and discovery than on level grinding.


Richard Garriott guided the Ultima Series from its inception in 1980, through the "trilogy-of-trilogies" of solo player games and later, the highly successful Ultima Online. Under his leadership, RPG's evolved from simple dungeon crawls to immersive worlds where you could easily suspend your disbelief. You cared about the world and its people, and you cared about the actions and deeds you accomplished within that world.


Since then, most every other RPG has focused more on level grinding than on "role playing", which has been reduced to a few initial character choices. While advancements in graphics and sound have been phenomenal, in many ways the virtual worlds we play in have become less real. Less open. Less immersive.


With Shroud of the Avatar, Richard and his team will again reinvent the classic fantasy role-playing experience. Using state-of-the-art tools and technology, the game will focus on what made his seminal Ultima Series great. Once players are introduced to the game, they will discover their own story woven into the immersive world and lore surrounding them. Players may choose to follow the life of the adventurer or, if they prefer, focus on exploration and discovery. Players may even choose the life of a homesteader; either nestled within the safety of the settled lands, or on the dangerous but potentially lucrative frontier. The world is full of opportunities and challenges!

Story behind the music and the video:
What do Bach, Beethoven, Strauss, Brahms, Schumann and many more of the world's greatest classical composers have in common? They are all from Germany! While we were on tour there we wanted to drink in Germany's musical genius. It was an amazing experience. We had a chance to tour Europe twice in the same month. Prior to our first trip we had been brewing an original tune. We wanted to write a cello "hook" that could grab people and that could be looped throughout the tune. We then started building more cello loops and moments with unprecedented sounds from the acoustic (wood) cello, carbon fiber, steel, and electric cellos. When the dust settled we had four minutes of layered, edgy, sort-of dubstep-with-a-U2-influenced goody-bag -- on the electric cello loops we used some of the same cool delay effects and chord style of legend guitarists such as The Edge, Ewan Dobson, Buckethead and Yngwie Malmsteen. We were excited but a little unsettled and we couldn't figure out why. It was incomplete. We then left to Germany. We had some incredible adventures while we traveled and performed there. Upon return we had a week between our two Europe trips and we were determined to finish the song. Al and Steve were a little discouraged after having put so much work into a song and feeling good about it, and yet not knowing exactly what it needed. This is a good moment to say again how grateful we are for our supportive families. They are the true "Behind the Scenes" of ThePianoGuys that make everything possible and give us the happiness we draw our inspiration from. If it weren't for Rachel (Al's wife) and Julie (Steve's wife) this song would have failed. They gave us the encouragement and the ideas we needed to sprint the last mile. We had one day to finish it up. That morning inspiration struck Al and Steve at the same time in different places -- we still have the iPhone voice memo recordings (recorded at less than an hour apart) that we used to sing the capstone melodies that came to us. When we met at the studio we simultaneously announced we had the melody the song needed -- only to find out that the song needed BOTH melodies -- separately in different places and then together as a duet at the end of the song. As we listened to the final product we couldn't help but feel the picturesque classical vibe mixed with a pop/dubstep vibe was an abstract depiction of what we felt as traveled through and performed in Berlin. We decided just days before we were to board the plane again that the song would be called "Berlin" and that we should film it while we were in the city -- a place so richly steeped in classical heritage, history, and vitality. Filming in front of its incredible landmarks was such an unforgettable experience.

The video shoot had its share of challenges and blessings. Paul was the only cameraman—he was jetlagged and didn't get a wink of sleep the night before (he even fell asleep while filming during one of the takes -- and we still used the take!!). We didn't have much time so we filmed 13 hours straight in pure COLD and snow (we're still thawing out!) But we felt blessed by the all-day cloud cover, no problems at the locations (except the subway), an awesome cab driver, and just the right amount of time to get the shots we needed.
