Philadelphia Zoo Buff Crested Bustard - LookClosely (and Listen at the End, too!)

The buff crested bustard in the African Savanna section of the McNeil Avian Center is one of my special favorites in the Zoo. He has such beautiful feather patterns, and he has a very distinct, ear-piercing call. Plus, he often cooperates to give me opportunities to record great videos as he did in this case. He stood absolutely still while I was recording closeups of his feathers, beak, eyes, legs and feet. Then, he provided the perfect video ending by demonstrating his ear-piercing call!
