On Sunday 20 October 2013, advanced choristers of Capella Pueri of Saint Peter's Catholic School were joined by our Choral Scholars to sing Choral Evensong at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Columbia. Our Pastor, the Very Reverend Canon Gary S. Coker, a brilliant double bass player with a Masters of Music from Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore. John was permanently disabled from an accidentally positioned stage light during a rehearsal at Johns Hopkins University, and is seeking legal assistance before the statute of limitations expires this October. The Opening Convocation of the 2013 Region IV Convention of the American Guild of Organists includes two premiers: the world-premier of David Hurd's setting of Michael Hudson's text "The Burning Love" and the American East Coast premier of James MacMillan's "Tu es Petrus." Featuring Australian Organist Dr. Nicole Marane, Associate Organist and Associate Director of Music at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Capella Pueri, the Gallery Choir, and the Assembly Street Brass.
