Islamic Articles of Faith and Belief (Aqeeda)
To be a Muslim, one has to simply accept Allah as their Deity and Creator worthy of worship and follow the guidance of the last Messenger, Muhammad (Peace be upon him) as found in the Quran and Sunnah. However, to gain a proper grounding in Islam, apart from the five pillars of Islam (Muslim Testification, the 5 daily Prayers, Fasting the month of Ramadan, giving Zakat Charity, and performing Pilgrimage or Hajj if you can afford it), one must also accept the core or basic articles of belief as elucidated in the famous "Narration of Angel Gabriel." This includes belief in Allah, the Angels, the Holy Books, His Messengers, Judgment Day (including Resurrection, Heaven and Hell) and Divine Decree or Predestiny, both the good and bad of it. But we must make sure our Creed or Aqeeda is pure and accurate in order to benefit from it.
Prophets Sent By Allah
The finest examples of human beings, chosen by Allah Himself to reveal His Message and Guidance for Mankind. Each one; a brother from a different mother, but with the same calling i.e worship the One True God with good actions and avoid Polytheism and sins. With beautiful manners, pure sincerity, genuine humility and all easy to be around, all of the Prophets of God inspire us to become better, and we make no distiction between any of them. We need to familiarise ourselves with the stories of these true heroes of piety and emulate them in order to lead righteous lives and earn the Pleasure of Allah.
Signs of the End Times & the Last Day
As tribulation and strife increases across the World, the Believers need clear guidance on how such times will unravel and how to stay clear of trouble such as the trials of Ad-Dajjal, the Antichrist and steer a clear course to salvation by closely sticking to the Quran and Sunnah in patience, prayer and hope. For after the darkness of tribulations will come the dawn of Imam Mahdi as a precursor to Jesus (peace be upon them both), so that the Guidance of Allah reaches all of humanity and we can all live together in peace and brotherhood as Believers in a blessed and united World.
