TS3 Midnight Sun Challenge Part 1, Meet Lynette Butler - Commentary
This is the start of a new LP featuring The Midnight Sun Challenge. A single Sim is stranded on a deserted island and must survive. You can read about the challenge in the link below. For the challenge, a custom world called Isle of the Midnight Sun must be used. You can find the download link for that world in the challenge description. IMPORTANT NOTE: I deviated slightly from the original challenge rules. This challenge was introduced before Seasons was released, so I felt it necessary to give Lynette some startup money in order to take care of her basics and to keep her out of the weather. No cheats are allowed, but the weather needed to be taken into consideration. This will be the only cheat used during this challenge, and I will be keeping to the original rules form here on out.
You can visit my Sims 3 profile to download Lynette for your own game. There is a lot of Siims 3 store content on her, but her hair came from Mod the Sims. Unless you have a Mods folder and this hairstule, your game will likely generate the default hairdo, so you will have to change the hair to something of your own choosing.

Kirstien's tummy is a little tipsy turvey, today. She questions...is it Jet Lag??? TO MUCH "Necter" WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON! Shes loosing it. The last time she felt this feeling, she was......NO! It can't be...
Kasey: Shes becoming quite the little ambitious one! Focusing on raking in thouse simoleans, Kasey puts her best foot forward at work. Trying to earn her next promotion! While thinking of that cute plumber, all at the same time. HOW DOES SHE DO IT? One could wonder.
Conner: Prom is tomorrow. He hopes he can make it. With one day left as a teen. He wants to experience prom!
Reid: Really just missed his dad while he was away, and would give anything for him to spend a little time with him.!
THE BACKSTORY:
Kirstien was a happily married woman, living the ultimate dream in the suburbs. Her only worry in life was how to properly raise her two children Kasey (girl) and Conner (son).
Her husband was a man full of surprises a day never passed by that he wouldn't tell Kirstien how important and lucky he was to have her in his life, and that he would of never been able to find a more perfect woman to have his children with. He was a fantastic father.
The day before their anniversary, Blake was driving home. After picking up Kirstiens gifts. A dozen red roses and a pair of pearl earrings. It was raining so hard that the roads were covered in about an inch of rain. Blake was crossing an intersection, when another driver tried to run a red light. Unable to stop he crashed into Blakes car on the driver side. Killing him instantly.
Thus, leaving Kirstien a widow and with no real job experience and only a great love for cooking. She needed find a place to stay and get on her own two feet again.
She called on the only one person she knew would still - after all these years. Would still care. A long time childhood friend. Jake Summer, and that's where this Lets Play/Story Line.
Begins.

My favorite LP's on your channel are showtime and ambitions, because when showtime came out only Quxxn's and Nick0Kgames had good LP's of it but yours is fantasic and i was sad to see aaron not come back. I like ambitions cause the story line to it in the beginning was really awesome and the backstory was awesome. You have been a role model to me and u are a BIG part of me starting LP's!
