And yes, the Pearl P902 is one of the smoothest double pedals I've ever played. I tried out a DW7000 and a Gibraltar Intruder double, and this one came out on top. Also, I used to have the Pearl P900 single pedal, so this is literally the same feel, just...with two feet. It fit me very well, and I'd definitely recommend it.
Regarding the G2's, it's a choice where you can't go wrong. At your local music store, be sure to look around at other heads, though. Remo's Pinstripe or Ambassador heads work very well, as do the Evans EC2's. Look around, try to see if they come on any kits that you can try out, see what you like. I'd recommend the EC2's or G2's, having played them and loved them. If you need any help, feel free to drop by and leave me a message any time.

Yeah, they come standard with most kits below the Pearl Reference series (Forum and Vision, basically, lol.)
Haven't gotten time to post a video yet, but soon, I hope. :)

Hey man! I appreciate the positive feedback! And thank you for subscribing! The drum heads in all my videos up until now were the stock Pearl Protone heads. The crappy single ply ones that came with my kit, which I'd been using for a year and a half. Just three days ago, I got a tom pack of Evans Coated G2's for all three toms, and an Evans Genera HD Dry for my snare. So, a LOT different now. Check back soon in your subscribe feed, I'll have a new video up soon with a soundcheck. :)

I got a few private lessons a couple of years back and my dad showed me some basics. But apart from that I'm self taught!
