Bay-C from T.O.K just released some more hit tunes on the captivating Nyabinghi Riddim produced for his own Bomb Rush label. Not only the riddim, inspired by the traditional Nyabinghi drumming of the Rastafarians, calls on the rebellious past of enslaved Africans in the Americas. Tarrus Riley reminds his compatriots of the "warrior spirit inside", encouraging them to take a stand against oppression and discrimination in the tradition of Paul Bogle, Shakazulu, Lumumba, Kuntakinte, Marcus Garvey, Malcolm X, Selassie I and Nelson Mandela.
Busy Signal and Cobra wonder about the violence and sufferation in the society and present serious charges to the "bigger heads" and plea for more love, unity and upliftment.
Konshens is disgusted by the numerous irresponsible fathers and encourages parents to take good care of their youths. Chris Martin's sweet "Journey of Love" closes the riddim with a homage to the true love that conquers all evils of Babylon.
The excellent production with 6 outstanding songs is soon to be pressed and released on 3 different vinyl-singles:

Zusammen mit Tropical Bass und SEEN haben wir den Remixcontest zum Song "Marchin On" von Singin Gold veranstaltet. Die Herausforderung war zu den Vocalspuren von Singin Gold einen Remix zu schrauben oder selber einen Song auf das Instrumental von "Marchin On" zu schreiben. Die Resonanz war großartig und jeden Tag kamen neue Remixe und Voicings bei uns an. Insgesamt gab es 50 Einsendungen. Neben Preisen wie T-Shirts von SEEN war der Hauptgewinn ein Release auf der zweiteiligen "Marchin' On" Remix EP, die am 28. Oktober erschienen ist.
Der Original Song, das Instrumental und der Gewinner Remix von Musty erschienen am 28. Oktober im digitalen Vertrieb (iTunes, Amazon, Soundquake etc.). Gleichzeitig erschienen drei weitere Remixe und ein Voicing zum kostenlosen Download auf Bandcamp. Schaut gern mal vorbei und ladet euch die Songs runter.
