My name is Paul Dougherty, I'm a long time video maker operating at the fringes of the art and music worlds. Best known as an video editor, I've worked in mainstream television for decades. Currently working on a indie doc about NYC punk origins.
The umbrella name for my channel is Zippy Clips, it is a mix of original work and clips from my collection. Much of the original work involves music. Later work tends to be early mash-ups of "found" off-air footage.
Original videos are featured on this main page.
The video "collection" features short, goofy, off-beat videos with lots of flavor. Many of the archive clips are from the early 80s. If they appear to be clipped, it's because that's all I have.

When I was a teenager growing up in sydney australia a movie came out called Dogs in space, the first 10 minutes of which are on youtube, check it out, nice little suicide reference.
