VFX Minds

On the evening of November 10th 2011 NewTek hosted the VFX Minds event at the Television Academy in Hollywood. Variety editor, David Cohen, moderated a panel which included Chuck Cominsky Stereoscopic Supervisor for Avatar), Doug Drexler (Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica), Ron Thornton (Babylon 5 VFX supervisor), and Eric Hance (Terra Nova Animation Supervisor). Later that evening NewTek's Head of 3D Development, Rob Powers, unveiled LightWave 11 to a packed audience.
