http://www.learnnorwegianna...You might have noticed that I haven't published any new Learn Norwegian Naturally-episodes or articles the last couple of weeks. The reason for this is that I have worked a lot on a Premium-membership at www.learnnorwegiannaturally.co
m/membership.
I have been thinking about this for a long time and I came to the conclusion that my Premium-site shouldn't be a pre-written course or similar. It should be a dynamic site where new content is served on a regular basis.
After uploading an episode where I simply read a Norwegian article I had written, I realized from the feedback and view count that many people really liked that format.
I had made up my mind - I wanted to make Premium-episodes like that and I wanted to upload them on a daily basis. But how could I possibly produce enough content in order to record a reading of an article every day?
Newspapers. What can be better than learning Norwegian while you're staying updated? I therefore contacted two big newspapers in Norway and it was with great joy I got permission!
But only audio episodes were not enough...
After hours upon hours with hard work I am proud of the final subscription service I have created. The main premium content is:
- Daily readings of Norwegian texts and articles + access to archive of all previous readings
- Daily words (basic and advanced) + access to archive of all previous words + weekly quizzes to see how many words you remember from last week
- Norwegian transcripts with English translations of all episodes (side-by-side translations)
- Quizzes and interactive exercises to test your skills
- Text comprehension: Norwegian texts with comprehension questions at the end
The content is something I will continue to work on and improve as best as I can in the future. The aim is to have the best premium content for learning Norwegian that you can find online. Your feedback is therefore invaluable and I am always open for suggestions and feedback.
