Mahatma Dalí (Sonic Terrorist)

A video of me demoing the Koma Kommander - controlling a couple parameters of the Moog Sub Phatty via CV.

Here I am merely tinkering with the Kommander - controlling parameters of one of my analog synthesizers, the Sub Phatty (via control voltages). Clearly not a musical composition, but a jam nonetheless.

And last but most definitely not least, "Initium Novum". The tail of the snake that rests within its mouth. There is a special surprise at the end of the limited edition cassette that will not be uploaded. I firmly feel t is something that everyone should hear.

"According to scholars, music is exclusive to noise. In the album 'Lux Lucis,' Mahatma Dali pushes the academic interpretations of music for the participating audience to experience a noisy breed of music. Listeners will find soundscapes, drones, tone-clusters compiled with analog sounds. A unique blend of minimalism and an expressed recollective project, M. Dali, finds the first full-length album in its own genre: 'meditative/anti-meditative'. To get a full meaning of music, take a good listen and close/open your eyes -- it's 'Lux Lucis' by Mahatma Dali."
-Ray Jackson, Already Dead Tapes (2013)

The final track off the full length album, Lux Lucis. A seven piece conceptual Occult Sonicart album that spans over an hour in duration.

Now up for your listening experience, the sixth piece of Lux Lucis, "Deum Genus". This indeed a lengthy and interesting part of the sonic jaunt.

And now, the fifth track from Lux Lucis, "Dignitas Supremus". One of the softer pieces of this Occult Sonicart album, but not without its darkside.

I've had to reload this video due to taking YouTube's encoding advice when I apparently didn't have to.

This video is something you've all been surely waiting for, an actual music video that does not involve a still image of a circuit board or an animated GIF of Hypnotoad. This, if proven to be effective and well received, will become my approach to bring my music to YouTube - providing you a visual experience during your sonic exploration. Enjoy the sneak peek at this work-in-progress.

NOTE: This in no way a complete song. This is a sneak peek at a forthcoming work that has yet to be full arranged into a composition. This clip is hardly either mixed and certainly not mastered. This video is being put out there more to get as a feeler to see if people have interest in hearing a finished product.

I figured that I should make a visual experience for my other work-in-progress entitled, "Blister Pack of Designer Thugs" which will be the release, オーディオ・テロリズム (Audio Terrorism), in Spring 2013. Immerse yourselves and enjoy the sneak peek!

It has been quite some time since I have posted anything to YouTube. Well, all that is going to change relatively soon. I plan to begin uploading tracks from my forthcoming full-length album, Lux Lucis, in the not-too-distant future. Stay tuned!
