One bright and shiny morning, Youtube's digital signature detectors picked up a particular music track that was under copyright protection on Chuck Norris in Oblivion Episode 2. This was immediately reported to CTV, a Canadian television network in Toronto, who are the current owners of the track. The episode was pulled from youtube as per youtube's current policy on copyright material. Knowing that other episodes most likely also used intellectual property, Machinima proceeded to set the remaining episodes to private (even though episodes 9 and 10 used absolutely no copyright material other than the graphics and engine of Bethesda's game). A guy from Machinima called me up and told me that CTV wants to contact me for reasons unknown and at first, were going to just pass my information on. He then proceeded to give me a 20 minute pep talk on how to conduct myself during the call and what/what not to talk about. I later received an email from Machinima saying that they were going to try to coordinate a phone call between the 3 of us, with themselves driving the conversation and told me they would get back to me.
Update: SKYRIM IS HERE!!! ... and very not machinimatable! At least until some mods come out for it. Waiting on the creation kit...
