I don't think you've seen the actual series? Or at least, not the 'Noah Arc' (XD, Sometimes known as the 'Virtual World Arc'). If you like, you can go check it out on YouTube - I think it begins on episode 98. Someone called lumi29star uploads all of the dubbed episodes - if you watch the actual series, it makes the abridged even funnier!
