About Me:

Good evening people, welcome to the show !
Got somethin' here I want you all to know.

I am one of those people born in the wrong generation, musically.

Music is my main interest, dough I never got the idea about why argue about it. If you don't like something, don't listen to it. Nobody is forcing you to listen to anything. Those people who just goes here on youtube to say that some tone "sucks", "is awful" or something.. don't waste your time on me.

One type of debate that is going on about rock n' roll is the change in the bands. When someone dies or leaves for example. These debates are getting really PATETHIC in my opinion. Some of them are:

1. Metallica: Before "The Black Album" vs. After "The Black Album"
2. Van Halen: David Lee Roth vs. Sammy Hagar (or Gary Cherone)
3. Guns N' Roses: The classic line-up vs. Axl Roses "new" line-up vs. Velvet Revolver
4. Aerosmith: Their earlier blues rock vs. their Hardrock/Pop of later days.

Common people! These changes mentioned above (and other similar) mostly happened a long time ago.. isn't it time to just accept it and move on? I can agree that the music might have changed quite a lot but just listen to what you like and realize that most of this happened like 20 years ago !

As you might be able to see my list is quite varied and I personally don't really understand how people can be so focused on one or two genres. Lots of rock listeners seems to be out after aggression, speed or complicity. That's not the case with me, at all. For example: most of my favorite parts of Metallica is the slower parts, the more melodic one's and the transistions between the hard, heavy and fast into the above mentioned - Bon Jovi and Kiss are quite simpel rock n' roll but why sit and complain " this is too simpel, not enough solos etc." when you just can enjoy the singalong chourses, the riffs and their energy? It is what it is. I don't think Bon Jovi never claimed to be the greatest musicians of all time or the most complex rock band.. but they still do albums and have many million fans over the world. They must be doing something right, right? - Pink Floyd was more focused on breaking musical boundaries and creating musical landscapes than being the fastest/hardest rock band ever.. and the did it right. Even dough Pink Floyd doesn't sound like a typical rock band they are one of the most successful ! -- Open Your Mind :)

AC/DC was right when they once said:
Let There Be Rock
Country:
Sweden

Hei min nakenfis ;o))

Yeah, they go together nicely most of the time, and yes I have. I have that music video saved as a favorite. My favorite part is when Steven's looking into the bass drum.

Oh thats awesome! I've been in Lübeck, Hamburg, Berlin and München. So yeah i do travel a lot and im loving it :D Hmm yeah i have to admit that the guys in Sweden are a bit goodlooking but i wouldn't say that the german guys isn't because they are too! The danish guys are all kinda ugly. haha i think im maybe judging too hard. Yeah i could tell my friends that but unfortunately my parents hates the music i listen too and sometimes they forbid me to listen to some songs as well so i dont really think that people could imagine that MY dad are actually friends with Lars haha :b

O yeah, they put so much energy and groove into their songs. (I'm sure you have) but have you seen the live version of Dream On with the orchestra? I'm pretty sure they played for MTV.

Oh really? :D Do you travel a lot or something? I've been in Germany a few times as well! I dont know which country is the best though; Sweden or Germany? haha i know that you would say "Sweden FTW" since you're from there so... XD I just like to hear people talk languages that i understand hehe ^^ (i do understand a bit german as well though) If i know about Lars, the drummer, of Metallica? You must be kidding me! Of course i know him :D My school is near his hometown that he lived in! Denmark are proud of having him! I like Cliff Burton the most though :P Oh i understand norwegian too! Im bragging and rambling so im just going to stop now! haha (;

Helt mindblowing!! Men jeg liker mye annen musikk også.
God natt...og sova godt!!
Kram

Yeah, I agree. I love all of their songs, I mean I honestly haven't found one I didn't like. I like some more than others, but none that I just hate. I like Seasons of Wither so much because Steven wrote the guitar part for that song, and he doesn't fully know how to play the guitar. It is an amazing song, so is Lay It Down.

Well im Danish! That means im from Denmark haha XD Im in Sweden, like, 1 time per month or something! It's because a close friend of mine lives there! I love being in Sweden though. Its kinda fun to be there and i can understand and read swedish easily actually ^^

Høres ut som noen bra høttalere...og jeg er helt enig at det trengs andre høttalere til en laptop :)
