About Me:

Hey my name is Dustin Hsiao; welcome to my profile page.

I've been called many things before, mostly by many different people. Some of those things include: cool, awesome, smart, pathetic, and douchebag, but those last two don't come about too often.

I've written a couple books, one that's e-published and another that is coming out sometime next year. The ebook that you can buy right now is "Stupid Kid: Learn from Matt and Luke; how you can get better grades without effort". As you can probably tell from the name, "Stupid Kid" is all about how to get better marks without effort. It's a pretty awesome book that I wrote with an actual teacher; check it out of that type of stuff interests you:

Some people might wonder why I decided to start a show called "Ask Stupid Kid". To those people, sitting in front of a camera and spending your Fridays editing may seem like a pretty boring use of time. I mean, I could just as easily be playing video games, attending a mosh, or taking a bath...

The answer to such questions is complex; I don't think you would find it of interest and I certainly have no interest in finding you the answer. If you really want to know, email me at AskStupidKid@gmail.com with the subject "Why aren't you gaming/moshing/batheing". I'll get back to you in 5-8 weeks. While you're waiting, why not send a question for the show or subscribe to my videos. With any luck, you'll forget you sent me a letter on why I'm not gaming/moshing/batheing and be enjoying a new ASK episode every Saturday.

I've gotten a couple of emails asking if I'd proofread an essay or two. For some reason, people seem to think being an author automatically makes one good at editing essays on "A Catcher in the Rye", "Pompeii and its People", or "A Discourse on Nuclear Theory". While such a claim may be true, I really don't have time to read and comment on dozens of essays an hour. This of course does not include, people I like (you know who you are), hot girls between 16 and 19 (please send photo), or people who take me hostage, all of whom I'd be glad to help. So, unless you are a friend of mine, a hot girl, or wearing a balaclava and pointing a gun in my face, please understand that, although I would like to help you, it's not humanly possible for me to read and edit dozens of papers a day. Your best bet would be to subscribe to my show and bomb me with thousands of requests per second; we'll see who gives up first.

Since you've already read this far, I can assume one of two things: you either find this mildly amusing or I am standing beside you smiling like an idiot and saying, "Hey, check out my videos dude." If you fit into category one, please subscribe to my videos and buy my book, you'll find a similar style of wit in my book and a completely different style of humour in my show. If you belong to category two, please subscribe to my videos, lie and say you'll watch every week, and then try to show me a cool video you found last night. Chances are, I'll have gotten bored of watching you read by now and let you go on your merry way.

Oh and another thing, if you must know, I have cerebral palsy and am in a wheelchair; no I'm not "stupid" you cheeky bastard. If you want to learn more about my disability, watch "ASK Episode 3". I like talking to others as well, so if you have any other questions email them to AskStupidKid@gmail.com

You still seem to be reading this, so let me suggest that you watch some of my friends' videos. I can recommend jessematheson (who does an almost-daily variety show and who is the original inspiration for ASK), dudeneedaeaseonup (who videoblogs regularly and creates Japanese-style anime clips less regularly), sumfight (who appears to be very popular with females and produces hilarious skits), and finally reckur (who befriended me at random and currently has only an interesting video on "reason"). To all these people, thanks entertaining me and dispersing knowledge.

To all my subscribers, viewers, and people who have read this far, thanks for creating an awesome community to whom I am an entertainer, student, and idiot. Let's spread the stupid!

Keep on rocking,
Dustin Hsiao
