That sounds like a nightmare. Indeed, most 3D programs have particle generators. If you have a good graphics card, then this shouldn't be too difficult.

Haha, I'd love to. This is my favorite RPG of all time, so I'd love to do something more.
I'll probably remake this intro soon. I've learned a lot since then.

How? You can call me all you wish - you are a two-faced balloon munching, coward driven sack of crackerbarrel - but what does that change. Back your words up with arguments. I am probably ignorant, but how am I to realize this unless you show me why?

There will not, as most of it is just an extension of my existing tutorial. In a nutshell, how I'd do this more efficiently: 1. Get Element 3D. 2. Create your rings out of fire (use stock footage) 3. Near the end of the vortex, freeze it (there's an option in Particular) 4. Animate. 5. Composite. 6. Voila.

I did this about 4 years ago with both the Jason and Freddy series pretty much back to back. Around that time I suddenly got this craving for really campy horror.
I have to agree. Nightmare 3 is by far the best. When I think of the series, it's the first one I turn to. The rest are okay... It's definitely one of those things where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. I loved how the dreams went from dark to fantastic, giving the kids a chance to fight back.

Yeah there are many great videos, but again as mentioned in my description, it's really hard to accurately judge the size and distance of and between objects from pictures and video. If I showed you a picture of Stonehenge, well are the rocks 5 feet tall or 30? You've gotta go, "well I figure that that tree over there is 20 feet tall, and it's half of this size, and that stone is about a third of the size of this one...." It's like solving a geometry question where you are only given one value.
