THIS IS NOT A JOKE. I myself have heard these sounds in NJ:
In the beginning of January, before anyone was talking about this, at around 6:15 am est in northern NJ, I heard what sounded like my usual traffic and planes overhead, but it was 'so many times louder' than normal and at the time I was confused by it cause it sounded like normal traffic and jets, except it was so loud, abnormally loud as if the traffic and jets were being played by amplifiers! It lasted about 20 minutes and just stopped. I haven't heard anything like it since that day. It was so weird.
