That's just a flashback to earlier in the trip to Texas. That "chapter" of the movie is called "making memories" so it was just to flashback and show how they were before everything fell apart.

hs are all really nice dudes but to me that's not "complex", it's just sounds mashed together. I am more about making songs that move along smoothly and are easy on the ears but still heavy. This is just my opinion and shouldn't matter to anyone else though. Good complex stuff in my opinion is culprate or koan sound.
